Bunnie card

Well, I have a new stamp (actually one of many) - my friends know I have this addiction - is there a Stamp Anonymous anywhere?  I thought this was so cute and I couldn't miss the chance of owning it.

Thinking of boys and men it can be sometimes difficult to do a card especially if you like to attach flowers, ribbons, etc to your work.

This one is based with someone young in mind using vibrate colours

The stamp is one from Lili of the Valley - the image was coloured in with a mixture of Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens.  The background paper is also produced by LOTV - check out their website as they do not sell at any other retailers other than their own shop or at Craft Shows - also look out for them at the Hobbycrafts Show at NEC.

This close up I hope you will be able to see the detail added to make the card of some interest with the lack of other embellishments.  I used core card which I distressed around the edged, and a first for me, used my precious sewing machine to zig-zag around the backing paper and the stamped image.

To finalise the card I found a wooden snail and word topper amongst my stash.

I hope you find inspiration from this project and will be in touch with you again soon.

Middle of January Already

I can't believe this - I had planned to enter a couple of challenges with other sites but I have got a bit side tracked.  I am a little bit organised with the birthday presents this year with homemade ideas so until I give them out you will have to wait for the pictures.

But I have prepared my project for my little craft club in February - so organised this time.  This is what they have to come:

I started with a wooden heart and decoupatch the shape all over.  Then I got to thinking how about making more of the shape.  In one of Hels Sheridan's workshops she did a technique stamping onto tissue paper and then using glue and seal attached the various images into place.  I finished off the heart with some resin embellishments and gems.

Well I am going to try this one in my first challenge with http://treasuredtimesrubberstampschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ - fingers crossed
